I have three DNWs: incest, rape and child abuse.

On the other hand, there are a lot of things I do want. Here’s a partial list. (I obviously don’t expect you to stick all of these in one story, that would be impossible.)
• Plot. I prefer it to both introspection and porn, but it doesn’t have to be a massive epic.
• Hopeful and/or bittersweet endings, just not the unrelenting grim darkness of the far future
• FRIENDSHIP FIC. You can never go wrong with friendship fic as far as I’m concerned.
• Femslash, gen, het, poly and slash! I'm honestly not difficult. Most of my prompts are gen, but if you want to take them in a shippy direction, go right ahead! I've pointed out ships I ship, but if you ship something else, I'll gladly read it. I tend to ship ALL THE SHIPS.
• Dinosaurs.
• IN SPAAAAAAAAACE AUs
• Historical AUs
• Fandom AUs! Or better yet, fandom not!AUs, in which the canon is exactly the same, except everyone's in fandom!
• Crack taken seriously.
• People on opposite side who care about each other! Whether it's enemies-turned-(grudging)-friends or friends-turned-(grudging)-enemies or any other variation on this theme, I love this trope very dearly.
• Superpowers!
• Canon-divergent AUs! Allllllll the “WHAT IF” fics. ALL OF THEM.
• Identity porn! When someone (or several people) have secret identities (fannish, superheroic, all of the above, etc) and their interactions change depending on who's presenting as what at any given time.
• Timetravel! I love all the kinds of timetravel. The ones that create paradoxes and the ones that don't; the ones that are stable and the ones that aren't; the ones with alternate pasts/presents/futures and all the rest. Just. All the timetravel, yeah?
• Worldbuilding! Fuck yeah, worldbuilding.
• Folktales/fairytales/etc


But just write whatever inspires you the most!

Prompts in chronological order, btw. You will notice they tend towrds the "TELL ME EVERYTHING" side of things, because I would be legit delighted to get anything about any of these folks (and having to pick who to request from the nominations was such heartache, let me tell you).



Sappho

So I want to know anything and everything about Sappho's life and as you may notice, historical sources are sadly lacking in this area. Tell me about the first girl Sappho loved or the last woman, about learning to play the lyre, about writing poetry about being friends with Alceus, about wanting to write poetry so great it would be remembered down the ages (and it was!).

Or you could write her as the songwriter for the Lebian team at the Ancient Mediterranean version of Eurovision. ANYTHING IS GOOD.

Hannibal Barca, Scipio Africanus

I ship this two really ridiculously hard, but I would also be fine with something not shippy. I want to read anything/everything about these two! That goes whether it's set in the early years of the war, or at Zama, or in Ephesus or IN SPACE or at Eurovision or whatever. Just. Anything? They have such a fascinating dynamic.

Cornelia Africana

Okay, so I find her really interesting in her own right, but I am also very interested in her relationship with her sons, the Gracchi, and with her father, Scipio Africanus. Especially the later, even though (because?) we know far less about it than the former. That said, I would also love to read about her raising the Gracchi or her other children, or about her after their deaths, because that sounds like be both amazing and heartbreaking. Did she ever know about her statue on the Field of Mars? What did she think about it? Is there any truth about the story about her jewels?

(If you wanted to write the letters she might have written that we don't have (or complete the ones we do have), I would forever be blown away.)


Emperor Augustus

I'm not sure I like this guy, but I sure as hell am impressed by him. He knew what he wanted and he went for it. (Okay, so he's pretty much a real life Chosen One/Rome's Very Own YA Protagonist, in which Rome is the kind of YA dystopia whre people have numbers instead of names. You know, like Octavian.) I'm especially curious about the early years of the Empire, his relationship with Livia, Agrippa and Maecenas and how lucky was he that he found such an array of competent people to support him? The Chosen One. Alternatively, I'm also curious about his end. He asked for appaluse! That gets me every time.

(There's also his thing for names. What the hell's up with that? He literally changed his first name to Imperator!)


Julie d'Aubigny | La Maupin

I want to be her when I grow up. Seriously, though? Bisexual swordfighting opera singer who once burned down a convent to fuck a nun? Why isn't there five movies and a TV show about her already?

Anyway, prompts! I want to know anything and everything about her life. What about the time she grievously wounded that dude in a duel and then proceeded to fuck his brains out, why did she do that? Or how about shenanigans during the whole convent burning episode? Or you could focus on her opera career if you prefer.

(Totally optional slightly crack-y prompt: La Maupin et le mathématicien! Julie d'Aubigny: she's an opera singer who's really good at duels! Evariste Galois: he's a mathematician who's really bad at duels! TOGETHER THEY FIGHT DUELS CRIME!)
